Shannon's surgery update

Jeff and I have been overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support we've been receiving. To keep you up to date as the surgery approaches (and especially during our hospital stay) I've decided to start this blog to easily communicate with all of you. We'll be updating frequently, so log on, check out the latest and greatest, if you feel like it,leave us a message!

The Chest Tube Won't Come Out

The nurse's have been trying to take out one of the chest tubes for almost an hour now. As they pull, it is causing Shannon to feel excruciating pain. It seems to be getting stuck on something. They now have to take her for a CAT scan to see what is keeping it from coming out. -Jeff
